Located under Card management in Online Banking and the MyNCU Mobile App, Alerts and Controls give our members complete control on how and where your debit or credit card works.
This feature is more than just turning your card on or off and receiving alerts. You can also block transactions that you didn’t make on the following:
- Merchant types (Travel, restaurants, and gas stations)
- Transactions such as ATM, Mail/Phone Order, and Online
- International Merchants
- Spending limits

ITMs are currently available at the following locations: Anna, Arlington, Coppell, Duncanville, Lancaster, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, North Dallas, Oak Cliff, Prosper, Waxahachie and Uptown.
Surcharge-Free ATMs with MoneyPass & Allpoint
Our members have access to over 90,000 surcharge-free ATMs as a part of the MoneyPass and Allpoint ATM Networks. A surcharge is when the owner of the ATM charges the ATM user a fee and some can get as high as $5.
Neighborhood Credit Union’s partnerships with MoneyPass and Allpoint opens up almost 100,000 ATMs to members free of this surcharge.

You can authorize your employer or the government to directly deposit your funds into the Neighborhood Credit Union accounts of your choice. Some to savings, some to checking and some to your Christmas Club account? No problem! Just tell us how much and where, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Courtesy Pay is a service we provide where we consider paying a debit card transaction, ATM withdrawal, or ACH even if you don't have enough money in your account at that moment. Some members appreciate the peace of mind that a debit card purchase won't be declined at the store register or paying a bill. Learn more here.
Overdraft Protection uses money from another account of yours instead of temporarily borrowing money from the credit union through Courtesy Pay to cover a debit card transaction, ATM withdrawal, or ACH transaction overdraft. If you have linked a savings account or Line of Credit and there are enough funds to cover the transaction, we'll automatically transfer the money from that account, saving you the hassle of a Courtesy Pay fee and charge a low $5 transfer fee instead.
