What It Means to be a Member
When you become a member of Neighborhood Credit Union, you will be required to open our Prize Savings Account with a minimum $25 deposit. Why? This will be your Membership Share in the credit union making you a co-owner where you can be involved in credit union operations. Opening a share account makes you eligible to use other products like loans and checking accounts.
However, your membership is much more than your $25 share. Once you become a member, you instantly have access to our full line of products and services like free checking, retirement accounts, loan opportunities, and much more.
Member Referral Programs
We love our members! With Invite a Friend, you can be rewarded when you bring in new members who open new checking accounts, or new and existing members who open new loans with our Loan Referral Program. See below for details and qualification requirements.
Skip-A-Payment
During the holiday season, support local children at Children’s Medical Center while giving yourself the opportunity to Skip-A-Payment on your Neighborhood Credit Union loan! For a donation of $35 or more to Children’s Medical Center, Neighborhood Credit Union will let qualifying members skip a November or December loan payment.

To join Neighborhood Credit Union, you must meet the membership requirements, including purchase and maintenance of the minimum required share(s) (“membership share”) of $25 as set forth in the Credit Union’s bylaws. You authorize us to check your account, credit and employment history, and obtain reports from third parties, including credit reporting agencies, to verify your eligibility for the accounts and services you request.
