Why are you changing the chat feature?
It's an upgrade! Our previous chat served us well for many years and we know that our members like to communicate with us this way. Our new chat has additional features to better serve you.
What additional features will it have?
We will have the ability to see your screen to help guide you when navigating our website if needed (but only if you permit this). You will also be able to easily upload any requested documents in the chat window.
Will it look the same?
The new chat interaction will ask a couple questions to make sure you get to the right department faster. The new widget and chat icon will look a little different but is located in the same location on myncu.com and within Online Banking.
Can I chat with a representative on a mobile device?
Chat is still offered via mobile devices.
Why is there a CAPTCHA with the new chat?
For your protection, a CAPTCHA is used as a layer of security to verify that a computer bot is not maliciously asking about our members' accounts. You won't be asked to verify via CAPTCHA if you’ve already authenticated yourself by signing into your Online Banking account.
Can I still get a copy of my chat transcript?
Yes, you can copy your chat interaction before you close the chat and save it to your computer. Alternatively, our agents can email a copy to you.
Will chat hours change?
Our chat business hours will remain the same: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Central, excluding federal holidays.
