Neighborhood Credit Union Purchases land in Sherman

Sherman, Texas – Neighborhood Credit Union, the first credit union in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, announced plans to expand into the Sherman area. The credit union will be opening a full-service branch with ITMs (interactive teller machines) on recently purchased property at 3530 Crossroad Boulevard Sherman TX 75090 located on the northwest corner of US Highway 75 and FM1417. Neighborhood Credit Union worked with Triumph Realty on the land purchase. A groundbreaking is scheduled for November 2.

Sherman is experiencing significant growth with major investments from companies such as Texas Instruments, whose $30 billion, 4.7 million-square-foot silicon chip factory is estimated to create 3,000 new jobs and will be the largest electronics production facility in Texas.

Neighborhood Credit Union first opened its doors to members in April 1930 as the Dallas Postal Employees Credit Union.
