How Nick Works
Available 24/7, members can call Neighborhood Credit Union’s local number (214-748-9393) or the toll-free number (800-321-3728), and you'll be greeted by Nick and asked how he can assist you. If you need help with something beyond Nick’s ability during business hours, you will then be assisted by a Neighborhood Credit Union member service representative.
How does Nick benefit our members?
Nick will help Neighborhood CU team members by answering some of Neighborhood CU's most common questions, while leaving the more complex questions to our members service representatives. Nick also has tools to help you become more familiar with Online Banking and the MyNCU Mobile app by providing step-by-step instructions on certain topics.
How to Effectively Communicate with Nick
The best way to communicate with Nick is by speaking in short, clear commands.
Example Prompts:
- Say “Transfer money”, rather than saying, "I want to transfer money from my Savings 0000 to my Checking 0031"
- Say “Loan Rates”, rather than saying, "I need rates for a 2024 SUV."
Other useful tips when speaking to Nick:
- Try to avoid speaking if the Digital Assistance is speaking.
- Listen for the instructions.
- Repeat information only if asked.
- Speak clearly, and slow enough to be understood.
- Reduce background noises and other conversations.
